Business and Strategic Planning
Our process is engaging, thought provoking, and often visual.
It involves helping our clients think about the business and determine the strategy needed to accomplish the goals of the business. The objective is to help our clients envision and make strategic decisions for their business.
At a high level, the outputs of our process are:
Established Goals and Objectives
Where do we want to be?
An overall Strategy
How will we get there?
Actions -how we will execute?
The process allows executives and participants to focus on one issue at a time until they reach a strategic decision on how best to address it. From that point forward, they can then determine the plan and action required to achieve success (e.g. profitability expectations, opportunities for growth, new customers or customer segments, the customer experience, investment opportunities, key markets, competitors, mergers and acquisitions).
Our strategic planning sessions can be tailored to the specific needs of your organization. A typical strategic planning session would follow the steps listed below:
- Charting the business as it is today
- Charting competitor’s strategies
Business Objectives and Setting Strategies
- Discussion of focus, strategic objectives and differentiation
- Reviewing internal and external drivers
- Discussing strategy traps
- Visually charting the future strategies
